Time can definitely be a factor, whether its just the quality of technology or how many times something has been referenced in pop culture. With Psycho especially, when all the shocks have now been parodied to death, it loses a bit of essence. That could be what happened with me and Die Hard.

Glad you enjoyed the first film you pulled...now do we have any inkling as to what the next eleven will be? DIE HARD is a longtime favorite for me, and required viewing every Christmas. However, i am yet to see it on a big screen so I'm going to have to make mental note to finally get on that if I get the chance.

PS - If it's one of your fella's favorite films, how has he not lashed you to the couch and played it by now? Such antics were in abundance in those early months for Lindsay and I.

Excellent that you're joining us. Too bad you didn't enjoy Die Hard. I like it well enough, but don't hold it up as any sort of totem. I suspect that after missing these films for such a long time, some are bound to disappoint or at least underwhelm. I just reviewed Psycho and had a similar feeling, although I loved Janet Leigh's character.

yep, jumped the shark in season 4. Everyone is magical, Sookie is more annoying than the cheerleader in Heroes and the last minute saves are worn out. I really cared about watching seasons 1-3, but season 4 I found myself cleaning up or surfing the internet. I wish they would've toned down the supernatural business, everyone in the town is magical and it's ridiculous.
