International Delight Iced Coffee Beverages: A BzzAgent Review
It’s no surprise to anybody in my life, but… I’m a bit of a caffeine addict. So much so that I run my own tumblr dedicated to coffee, coffee, and all things coffee. So when I saw that there was a new BzzAgent campaign for an iced coffee beverage, I made sure to update all my profiles, complete all my surveys and patiently wait. (Well, sort of, I went away to London and when I came back the package was in my mailbox!)
But the wait was worth it, because these bundles of joy certainly delivered. We’d barely put our bags down before we made a quick grocery store run to get the International Delight Iced Coffee Caramel Macchiato flavour! (That’s me drinking my first sip!)
Growing up in the burbs of Toronto, I used to love me a good Tim Hortons Iced Cappuccino (there were no Starbucks in Scarborough but for one in an Indigo store by the highway!) but as I got older and coffee shops got better, I realized that the recipe was predominantly ice and that I was really not getting the right bang for my buck. I tried to brew my own at home, but they just couldn’t make the grade. Luckily, the International Delight Iced Coffee flavours taste exactly like all those pricey options, for a fraction of the price. And if there’s one thing I like more than coffee, it’s frugality.
I enjoyed the drink so much that I started doing drink-hacks with it! I’d add it instead of milk in my regular coffee, or I would put espresso shots from my Nespresso machine into a tumbler full of Caramel Macchiato, or Mocha flavour to add an extra jolt of caffeine to the intensity. After introducing this as a morning routine, my boyfriend started drinking them and drank me out of a whole carton in just a few days! My favourite hack? For a bit of an adult kick when you want to really get wired, put a shot of Baileys in it to make for an Irish breakfast 😉
My final thoughts? The International Delight Iced Coffee line is good to the last drop! There’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t buy a box of it when you’re in the dairy section. You get the equivalent of 6-8 drinks for the price of maybe 2? Makes “cents” to me. It looks like I might even need another refill…
Full Disclosure: I received this product through BzzAgent, I got it free and you can too!
